$20 buck scotch fillet steak

So I was in my butcher’s and I ask for a yea-thick chunk of dry aged scotch fillet – she goes “just one?” and I’m like “yes – as usual.”. Another chick pipes up “you usually get just one rib-eye, need a change?”… “Oh no that’ll be tomorrow probably.” and she’s like “Ah, the life of a single guy huh?” Yeah – thanks!

Oh well all’s good – was an awesome piece of meat, and it felt ok when I told them yeah my weekend steak is usually alone cos everyone I know has a family life and stuff, and she said “well, if you had a wife and kids you probably wouldn’t have the time or money to enjoy a $20 steak.” 😀
