SP3 W10 phantom touch on upgrade to “Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709”
I don’t know why yet, but when upgrading my Surface Pro 3 to “Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709” everything went haywire with the touchscreen.
Thing is, my touchscreen has been completely disabled for months because it has a crack in it, and I don’t use any of the touchscreen features anyway.
So, today when I did the upgrade/install of the latest version called “Feature update to Windows 10, version 1709” it all seemed to go fine for both of my laptops – except on my touchscreen PC the Surface Pro 3 it just started randomly registering touches on the right side of the device.
What that means is the mouse just moves there constantly, and because I have dev options enabled, I can see where touches register, and it was really annoying.
So yeah, I uninstalled the latest W10 update, and things are fine.
