This is the most confusing building I’ve ever been in.

From the street you go down two flights of stairs and you’re at reception – on the 7th floor.

If you come at the building from a different approach you enter on the 4th floor.

As a resident of the Uni part of it, stuff below 4th level is disallowed.

And no, this isn’t underground, here’s a shot from the 7th floor elevator – that’s a skybridge that has the dining hall on it which leads from reception to the social area.

Perhaps this might give perspective – this is the view from the 11th floor elevator:

Good views, but only $63 a night. Still, I’ll be seeking cheaper once I’ve got things sussed out. This place is just nice and clean and cosy enough to get settled for a few days whilst I find my bearings.
