  • Processed meat: 200g/7oz
  • Seafood: 250g/8.8oz

So this is what the average constitution of a day for me was:

  • 42g/1.5oz carby stuff
  • 1.1 eggs

  • 0.6 shots of liquor
  • 1.3 pints of beer

Averaged macronutrient figures per day (incl. guesstimations for fatty sauces):

  • 130g/4.6oz of fat = 1170cals
  • 110g/3.9oz of protein = 440cals
  • 21g/0.7oz of carbs = 84cals

Energy breakdown % (F/P/C):

  • 68/27/5

Inclusive energy breakdown % (F/P/C/A):

  • 36/14/2/48

Average daily energy intake:

  • 1694cals of food only, with alcohol = 3244cals

Daily BMR:

  • 1,886cals

Daily calorie needs (Harris-Benedict equation):

  • 2,600cals

Weight change:

  • plus 100g/4oz

Confounders:

a) This was a huge wine week: Friday was wine tasting; Monday was Sea And Vines which meant visiting wineries all day; Tuesday was a wine education course; Wednesday was a wine tasting. Basically, I had to drink a shitload of wine.
b) Missed a day of meat because it just wasn’t available where I was, so ended up with a huge carb day.

Notes:

Again I’m consuming way above maintenance calories and weight has ended the same (it actually went UP 2kg after one carb day, but disappeared in the next couple days).

I think I’ve consumed way more grog than anyone ever need to in a whole month, let alone a week, so will attempt to curb things somewhat for the next week and see what effect it has.
