The Blurgher – Beef, Bacon, Cheese, and drool

For some reason I was craving a Hungry Jacks/Burger King experience, but delete a few ingredients – such as anything that wasn’t animal based.

Still, I craved that plastic cheese making love to bacon and beef taste that they have manufacture. So I went to the store and picked up three ingredients: beef patties, bacon, and individually wrapped plastic-inspired cheese slices.

Decided to bake the bacon, couldn’t be arsed cleaning up pig fat from all over the kitchen from frying it.

Patties in the pan, in lard.

Patties mostly cooked, now deploy the plasticheese.

Apply bacon.

I’m not a big cheese guy, I’ll have it once every week or three, but for some reason the idea of awful cheese was just part of this fantasy craving, sooooooo spread another layer of plasticheese upon the bacon and whack it in the oven on med-high…

I then stacked each patty/cheese/bacon/cheese layer on top of one another, and squeezed an ultra tiny bit of sticky balsamic between each layer.

In the end it was only 462g/1lb of meaty fatty cheesy goodness, but sheesh it was good.
